NEW SNACKS

Waddup snack-lovers. Right now were going to take a look at another snack that people don’t take advantage of enough, BEEF JERKY. Ok so most people out there think that beef jerky is bad for you because of all the preservatives in it, and they are right it is somewhat unhealthy, but despite this it has high levels of protein and is actually an excellent snack if you are trying to build muscle. Oh and it tastes damn good. If the preservatives bother you, there’s preservative free beef jerky on the market, but I recommend trying some normal jerky first if you’ve never tasted it before. My personal favorite is teriyaki, but hey whatever floats your boat.

In a reading assignment from my English class, we read about how storytelling is one of the most effective ways of communication. Blogging about snacks for example, and blogging in general, kind of has the same effectiveness when it comes to the digital age of society in which we live in. Of course blogs are not the “spoken word,” but because of the continuously growing number of people that use the internet, blogs can be seen as the next closest substitute for effective storytelling. I mean let’s be honest, you hear people say they love snacks but do you know anyone who goes into as much depth about them as I do? Probably not, but if you do give them a high five.

Ok so I also want to also take a look at some of the more sugar-y snacks in our world. When I was a kid they came out with “Fruit by the Foot.” These snacks are literally just a big roll of fruit/candy goodness. You unroll it as you eat it pretty much and it feels like they last forever. Fruit by the Foot  was the best when I was a kid, and after eating one just yesterday for the first time in years I realized that they’re definitely worthy of [Snack Attack]. If I had two of them I'de make a fruit rope for sure just to bring back memories of the good ole days. Try one of these if you ever get the chance.
