Hello world! Today I want to review yet another epic snack that I’m sure most of you have probably eaten before at the movies or for Halloween or something. If you haven’t tried Sour Patch Kids you’re really missing out on life. They are probably the most sugary snacks I have ever had so they are pretty unhealthy. They come in at about 140 calories, 36g’s of carbs, and 29g’s of sugar per 1.4 oz serving of them, which is a lot considering how small the “kids” are, but let me tell you something…. They are sooo good! And they are also fucking addictive. I love them. You shouldn’t eat them all the time, but if you’re in that snacking mood that we all know so well and you’re looking for something sweet, go ahead and try some . When you eat one it’s like a supernova of candy sweetness, it’s almost overwhelming. Next time you go to the movies maybe try some Sour Patch Kids instead of popcorn :P Trust me, you won’t regret it.
In my English class we have been talking about incorporating more voice into our essays, blogs, or any type of writing really. When it comes to blogging, I feel like I can be more casual and write more as if I’m SPEAKING as opposed to if I am writing a government essay or something like it where I tend to keep it more scholarly. For instance, in this blog, I can drop insane amounts of commas if I want to, and add interrupters eight times more than I would in a scholarly thesis simply because I believe blogs allow us to express our voice a little more than what where used to. Then again though, I have also learned that too much voice can be a bad thing. It has been challenging, but I’m actually starting to learn a good balance of how to use effective voice in scholarly work. English class has definitely helped me spice up my essays in other classes by adding voice.
Another snack we all should appreciate are Reese’s Cups. I mean come on, chocolate and peanut butter? Reese’s Cups are definitely an A+ snack if you like chocolaty food. I used to think Reese’s was pronounced like Ree Seas but then after taking a look at the name my mind got scrambled. IS REESE A PERSON? Someone will have to get back to me on that. Anyways looking at Reese’s peanut butter cups they come in at about 210 calories with 24 g’s of carbs and 21 g’s of sugar for two cups. Probably not a snack you want to indulge in all the time, but just like Sour Patch Kids Reese’s Cups are definitely a snack everyone should experience in life because they are just so so good.
And yes, I did in fact manipulate both of the images in MS Paint. Pretty skilled yeah? :D
